"I don't see why you don't just tell him, it's not really that big a deal you know. Well, it is, but you know what I mean." Sealand sat on your couch, eating a Popsicle, swinging his legs to and fro. "England might be a giant jerk, but I'm sure he'll do what's right. And besides, he really loves you." He hopped down from the couch and took your hand in his. "He wouldn't have put a ring on it if he didn't" Sealand winked.
"I know Sea, this is just kind of a big deal. I'm nervous is all. I've never had to do something like this before." You paced around the room, trying to think of the words to say.
"If you keep pacing like that you're going to make me dizzy. I get sick when I get dizzy. When I get sick I throw up. Just a warning." Sealand plopped back down on your couch and continued working away at his Popsicle.
"Sorry." You sat on the couch with your head in your hands.
"What's the big deal, are you not happy or something?" He moved over to where you were and rubbed your back. "Is there something I can do to help? I could tell him for you if you wanted. He'll be home any minute you know. You're going to look pretty suspicious pacing around or fretting the way you are."
You sunk your head deeper into your knees. "Would you mind telling him for me? I know I should do it, but I'm too embarrassed." Just then you heard England's car door slam shut.
"Not at all friend, I'll be right back!" Sealand ran outside to speak with England. You waited on the couch, alone, in silence, for what seemed like an eternity for the two of them to walk back through the front door.
England came rushing in, face red from blush, dropping everything he had in his arms and stumbled over to where you were sitting. "Is Sealand telling the truth?" He clung to your shoulders, staring you straight in the eyes.
"Do you want him to be joking?" You were worried England might be upset with you.
"That doesn't, matter. No, wait, of course not. Now answer me before I have a heart attack woman." He shook your shoulders. "I'm dying over here." He really was. His palms were sweaty, face was read, and he was hyperventilating.
"You really should calm down England. You're going to have a heart attack before you find out whether I'm lying or not." Sealand reached into the fridge for another Popsicle.
"Quite right." England took a deep breath and tried to regain his composer. "Now, please. Would you please tell me if that little punk is telling me the truth or not?"
The blush on your face intensified one hundredfold, but you managed to nod. "It's true. Sealand was telling the truth."
"Well then." England sat next to you on the couch and let out a sigh of relief. "I think we might need to push the wedding up a bit." He gave your stomach a little rub. "Wouldn't want you popping out of your dress now would we?" He was blushing like you'd never seen before, but he looked genuinely happy which put you at ease.
Sealand jumped into England's lap. "Guess that means I'm going have another little friend soon. I can't wait to teach him all about anime and manga. I can be like a roll model to him. It's going to be great." He hugged you both tight.
His blush still hadn't faded. "That also means I'm going to be a father." A bead of sweat rolled down his cheek. "I suppose we have quite a lot to prepare for now don't we?" England smiled wide. "I have to say, I really am glad America locked me in that blasted closet with you. If he hadn't, I doubt I'd be with you today. I owe him my thanks." England kissed your cheek.
America popped up from behind the couch. "Say what England? I couldn't quite hear you there?"
England fell off the couch in shock. "Where the bloody hell did you come from? Get out of my house you hooligan."
