It was a comfortable day in the middle of the week, the sun was shining brightly in the sky and a cool breeze was blowing. It was a perfect day for you to carry out your plans. You were headed down to a small river to meet Norway, the two of you were going to go boating today. You hadn't seen his home yet and today he was going to give you a short tour. You could already see him down by the water readying the little boat you'd be taking. It looked like a miniature viking ship.
Norway spotted you walking down the old cobblestone path and immediately greeted you with a smiled. "Good morning, you ready to set sail? It's perfect weather for it, we really lucked out." He helped you climb aboard his little ship and began shoving it away from the pier. Before it was too far away Norway hopped in with you. "We're off."
You snuggled close to Norway, kissing him on his cheek. "I've never gone sailing before, so pray I don't get seasick or something." You were only joking with him, but you did have a tendency to get nauseous easily.
"Well I certainly hope you don't throw up on me, I didn't bring any extra clothes to change into." He scratched the back of his head a bit nervously. "Maybe if you try to focus on the scenery you'll be okay."
The view from here was really beautiful. On one side of the river was nothing but mountains and forests filled with wildlife, completely untouched by human hands. The other side was a village that looked frozen in time. You could smell the scent of all sorts of baked goods coming from the little cottages, the smell alone was enough to make your stomach growl. "We have to get some of whatever is over there."
"That won't be a problem, I thought you might get hungry so I planned ahead." Norway opened up an entire wooden trunk filled with danishes, doughnuts, breads, pies, rolls, and any other pastry you could have wanted. He'd even brought orange juice and milk along. "Help yourself, just don't make yourself sick."
You dug right in, having to at least taste a little bit of everything he'd brought along. After all, you didn't want it to go to waste. "That was so good, I might explode." Leaning against Norway you let out a satisfied sigh.
"Let's hope you don't, that would be rather disastrous." He kissed the corner of your mouth and grinned. "You have icing on your face, it's delicious." You honestly doubted you had icing on your face, you weren't that messy of an eater. But hey, if it got Norway to kiss you.,you weren't going to complain. He continued to kiss you until you felt the boat run into something. "Oops, I forgot, I should be steering us." Obviously embarrassed he'd gotten so sidetracked, Norway rushed to the helm and got the ship back on coarse. "I've never crashed before, let alone in a river. That's definitely a first for me." He mumbled something after that, what he said you couldn't make out. Not long after you saw the pier again and knew you'd be docking soon.
Once at the dock you stood rather proud out on the pier as Norway tied up the boat. "You know, I didn't throw up. I didn't even get a little bit seasick."You were proud of yourself for acquiring your sea legs so quickly.
"Good job. I'm surprised you didn't though, eating my own weight in sweets would have been enough to make me sick."
