Apparently already recovered from his short burst of sadness, Teddie took his place in front of the group. Without saying so much as a single word, he walked up to you, dragging the pillow case behind him and stared. His face slowly grew closer and closer to yours as he inspected you until finally, he snapped back up and nodded. “Yup, you're the next player alright. I just had to make absolutely paw-sitive that you were who I wanted.” Smiling to himself, he placed the bag on the floor in front of you and took a step back. “Break a leg.”

“I'd rather not break anything if I can avoid it. Breaking my leg in the middle of a game like this might put a damper on things.” Obviously joking, you placed your hand into the pillowcase and latched onto something smooth and plastic. When you looked down to see what you'd picked, you saw a small, pink, compact mirror. “I could probably think of a few people that have something like this. But to save on time, I'm not even going to try.”

Busy chatting with some of the other girls, Yukari didn't realize that you had her item until Junpei alerted her. Quickly turning away from her conversation, she looked up at you and blushed. “Oh, it's my turn already? Sorry, I wasn't expecting to go so soon.” Looking a bit unsure, Yukari forced herself out of her seat so that she could reclaim her item. “Now that it's my turn, I'm really not all that sure about doing this. I mean, is it really a good idea?”

“No time to think about that now. Your item was picked so in you go.” Not about to let Yukari back out of the game, Teddie rushed from his spot and roughly shoved the two of you into the closet. Moving just as fast, he shut the door, locked it and yelled to you from outside. “Your time starts now! Use it wisely.”

“Well, I guess that settles it, doesn't it?” Dropping down to the floor with a huff, she crossed her arms over her chest and sighed. “Now I'm stuck in here.”

Confused by her attitude, you sat down on the floor across from her and tried to think of a reason for her complete lack of enthusiasm. “Is that really such a bad thing? I mean you couldn't have minded the idea all that much when you gave Teddie your item. If you had, you wouldn't have given him anything in the first place.”

“Yeah, I guess you're kind of right. Still, this is a really weird game.” Looking away from you to hide her now rosy cheeks, Yukari awkwardly began to fidget.

Not at all awkward or uncomfortable with the current situation, you shrugged. “It's only weird if you make it weird. Relax and you should be fine in no time.”

“I guess.” Nodding weakly, she sighed again. “But honestly, who thinks up this kind of stuff. It had to have been some desperate pervert.” Her words made it hard for you not to laugh, but you managed to quiet yourself before it was too late. “What? Why are you laughing? What did I say?”

“If a pervert came up with this game, that would mean that everyone playing it is just as perverted.” Chuckling under your breath, you couldn't hold back a sly smile. “You're calling yourself a pervert.”

Though she understood what you were saying, and had to admit that it made sense, she shook her head. “N-no. That's not what I was saying at all. And stop smirking at me like that or I'll slap you.” Terribly flustered, and not knowing what else to do, Yukari attempted to shove you away from her. Due to the darkness, however, she completely misjudged the distance between her hands and your shoulders. This meant that the only thing she shoved, was the air. Having nothing to stop her descent, she fell face first into your lap. Too embarrassed to even move, she just stayed silently where she landed.

Unable to keep yourself from teasing her, you cleared your throat and spoke in a gentle, even tone. “I know you told me that you weren't a pervert, but this seems almost like you planned it out to me.”

Not even trying to move her face from your lap, Yukari mumbled out an empty threat. “I'm going to kill you.”

Before the awkward situation had been remedied, Teddie opened the door and let out an exaggerated gasp. “W-whoa you two, there are children here. What would Nanako say if she saw this?” Obviously making a much bigger deal out of the bizarre looking scene than he needed to, Teddie looked around the room and then back at you. “I'm closing the door, when I come back, you'd better be ready to leave.” After giving you a wink, he quickly shut the door and left the two of you alone once more.

Not wanting to be in the same position when Teddie returned, you placed your hand on her shoulder and helped her to sit up straight. Her face was already bright red, and you doubted she could be any more embarrassed than she already was, but you couldn't help yourself from one last tease. “For someone who didn't even want to play, you sure did do a good job of getting us more time.”
