You were sitting outside on your front porch enjoying a book when you received a text message from China. The message read that his zoo had adopted a new baby panda and you just had to come see it. You let him know you were on your way. China was impatiently waiting for you at the main entrance to the zoo.

"It took you long enough to get here aru. Now hurry, you have to see this baby panda, he's so kawaii." China half dragged you all the way to the exhibit. "Look at him, isn't he snugly?" China was grinning ear to ear. "We named him Zhuang. Do you want to hold him?" Without letting you answer China led you into the panda's habitat and picked him up. "Be careful, hes heavy aru." He placed Zhuang in your arms. He was about the size of a watermelon and so fluffy it made you want squeal.

"He's so soft, and fat. I wish I could take him home with me." You snuggled your new found friend close.

"I know, but it would be bad, panda needs a to be in a place close to natural habitat so we can let him free one day. Your house wouldn't be very natural." The panda let out a big yawn and drooped his head to your chest. "I guess we should let panda sleep, it took you to long to get here and now he's tired." China placed the panda back in his bed and took your hand, leading you back out to the zoo area. "Since you're here we should go see other animals. Like the tigers, we can get a picture with them." China was once again dragging you through the zoo showing you all the new attractions. You finally did make it to the tigers though. "You're ready for the pictures right now aru? We actually get to be in with the tigers."

You weren't expecting that at all. You had no desire to get in a den with tigers, a fluffy baby panda was one thing, but two giant tigers, the very thought scared you to death."What, what? Is that even safe? Can't we just stand outside the fence or something?"

China was already leading you into the tiger's den. "No way, that would be boring,  we need our pictures to look like we're really awesome and tough aru. I don't want to look like a little sissy. Now don't be scared, they can smell your fear you know." He was only teasing, but it didn't help. Two large tigers were sunbathing in the middle of the grass, China posed you two with them and had the photographer take a couple of pictures.

After a couple of shots the tigers began to roll around in the grass, they didn't seem angry, but that that didn't matter to you. It took everything in you not to get up and run out of there. "China, I think we have enough pictures. We should probably go before the tigers get mad at us."

"Oh okay." China helped you up and out of the den. "Are you alright? Your shaking really bad." He ran his hand over your face. "You were really scared in there weren't you? I'm sorry, I should have been paying more attention to you." China quickly pulled you into a tight, apologetic hug. "I'll make it up to you, anything you want." He wasn't letting you go  anytime soon, his hug was just getting tighter and tighter. It was more than obvious he felt bad for scaring you.

You hugged him back the best you could. "It's okay China, so long as you don't make me get that close to a tiger, or any other animal that large, with teeth that sharp, ever again, I'll be just fine." You pecked him on the cheek.

China nodded. "I promise, but I still think those pictures are going to make us look cool. Maybe next time though I'll just photo-shop them."
