“It's your turn to play next. So get ready.” Jiraiya let the current couple out of the closet and returned to the center of the room. “Okay, you ready to go?”
“Yup, as ready as I'll ever be.” You walked up to where he was standing and dropped your hand inside the bucket. There wasn't a whole lot inside, so you were easily able to tell what you were picking. It was a bit of cloth; but what was printed on it worried you slightly. A red cloud, the symbol for the Akatsuki. “Which one of you guys did I get?”
Nagato looked up at you, and slowly stood from the couch. “That's my item.” He walked over to you, looking drained, tired, and rather emotionless. “I apologize, I doubt I'll be as much fun as some of the other candidates.”
To your surprise, Jiraiya wasn't protesting to you sharing your turn with him. He instead had a look of pity on his face. “Well, we should get you two started then, shouldn't we? Don't want to keep the others waiting.” He walked you both to the closet and let you get seated on the floor. “I'll see you both in seven minutes.” He smiled weakly. “Have some fun.” The door was shut and locked.
“I do hope you aren't expecting me to act like a child and play along with this game.” Nagato slowly turned his head to look at you. “I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. I'm just not giving a very good example if I play along.”
“I understand.” You nodded, a little depressed that your turn was going to be a waste. “You do know most of the Akatsuki members have already had their turn right? A few of them even stole the girl they were with.”
“No, I didn't know that.” He paused. “Maybe I should show them the appropriate way to treat a woman, since none of them seem to know.” Nagato sighed. “Since this is your turn, what would you like to do? My team has already made us look like fools.”
“I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do.” You looked down at the floor, a blush creeping across your neck and face.
“That's not what I asked you. However, I suppose it answered my question in an indirect manner. Still, I do hope you aren't expecting anything spectacular from me.” Nagato rested his hand on your shoulder and stared at you, his eyes were mesmerizing. “Stop me if I do something wrong. I doubt that will happen, since time is running away, but still.” A gentle kiss was placed on your cheek. You broke out in a blush and forgot what you were supposed to be doing. Your train of thought was gone and you were just sitting there, eyes wide open, staring into space like an idiot. “Is everything alright?”
“Sure, I just, I didn't expect, you to do anything.” You squinted your eyes shut. “I guess I'm a little bit shocked is all.”
“I've only just kissed your cheek.” Nagato brushed his fingers along your jawline. “Surely a kunoichi blessed with your beauty has been kissed on the cheek before.” His eyes smiled at you. “You can't honestly expect me to believe I'm the first.” He began slowly moving towards you again, hoping to steal another kiss.
The closet door opened. You half jumped to your feet, walking straight to Jiraiya. “That was way too close. He was trying to charm me in there. Another minute and I might have joined the Akatsuki.”
“No you wouldn't have. Only S rank ninja can join the Akatsuki.” Nagato was already standing behind you. “You were never in any danger, nor was I trying to charm you.”
Jiraiya held back a laugh. “You have to think, Nagato was my pupil a long time ago. So he'd going to be a natural charmer. He can't help it if he learned from the best.” He brought you into a hug and let out the laugh he'd been holding in.
“But Jiraiya, Nagato's evil.” You were confused. “Do you really want to take credit for that?”
He abruptly stopped laughing and began sulking. “You're just like Tsunade, always raining on my parade.”
