You had just finished up your chores and were heading home for the day. On your way, you spotted Link, standing in a shallow pond with Epona. “Hey Link, getting ready for a ride?” You walked as close to him as you could without getting your feet wet.
Link nodded and smiled. “I am, would you like to go with me? Epona seems to be in a pretty good mood, I don't think she'll mind an extra passenger.” He slowly led Her closer to you, being careful not to splash you.
“Sure. I'll never turn down a horse ride with a hero.” You smiled wide and accepted his help getting on Epona's back. “So, where we going hero?”
“I wish you'd stop calling me that.” Link blushed. “I wasn't going anywhere in particular, Epona just needed to be taken out. She hates being cooped up you know. Now hold on.” Link made a clicking nose with his mouth, letting Epona know it was time to leave. Epona shot off into a full run. “I guess she knows where she's going. Works for me.” Link let the reins loose and let Her lead the way.
“She can move really fast considering she has me on her back.” You snuggled close to Link and wrapped your arms around his waist. Epona didn't even seem to notice you were there. She was running through a heavily forested area as if she was gliding on polished glass. You held tighter to Link for fear of falling. The forest ended and she ran through a plain, hurdling over small fences in her path. Finally she came to a stop at Lake Hylia. Epona shook her head and patted her hooves, letting you know this was her destination. “I guess she knew where she wanted to go all along.”
“She usually does. Which is good, because I get lost pretty easily.” Link jumped off Epona and helped you down. “The lake is pretty calm today, it looks nice.” Epona snorted at Link, nudging him on the arm. “Oh, sorry. I almost forgot.” He quickly dug into his pocket and pulled out small bits of carrots for Epona.
You looked out over the water. It was so smooth it gave the illusion that one could walk across it. It was nearing sunset, so there was a perfect reflection of the sun, giving everything around you a reddish pink color. “It is.” You stroked Epona's mane. “Thank you for bringing us here Epona. It's beautiful.” When you turned away from Epona, you noticed Link was staring at you. “What, did I do something?” You blushed.
“No, it's just.. .” Link's mouth curved into a crooked smile. “Your hair. I think maybe next time you ride with me, you might want to wear a hat or something.” Try as he might, he couldn't keep from laughing.
“What?” You quickly moved closer to the water and peered down at your reflection. He was right, your hair looked pretty bad. “I don't know. I think the leaves add an earthy touch.” You turned from the water and ran your hands through your hair, trying to straighten it a bit.
“I've met a few fairy's with leaves in there hair. But never a stick.” Link walked up to you and grabbed a tiny twig from your hair. “Still, you're much prettier than any of those fairy's, so maybe the stick was what they were missing.” He blushed.
You weren't sure whether you should be offended or not. You knew those fairy's were ugly, Link had told you so. “So, are you calling me pretty, or just prettier than those fairy's?”
“Most anyone's prettier than those fairy's.” Link smiled as he headed towards Epona. “So what do you think?” He hopped on her back and extended his hand to you. “You ready to head home? It'll be dark soon, I don't want to run across any redead or kees.”
Accepting his help, you climbed on Epona's back once again and wrapped your arms around Link. “That didn't answer my question you know. And until you answer it properly, don't expect me to leave you alone.”

Safe Haven (LinkxReader): Chapter 3
“Ey, Johnny boy! Don’t touch those hilts, you got it? They’ll fall apart before you even finish making the damn thing!”
The morning breeze was extensively warmed up by the steam flowing from the smithy. It was always so dangerous, especially when you weren’t careful. Just last month your dad came home with a blistering burn on his right arm because a trainee hadn’t been watching where he was going. This is why he didn’t really want you or your mom visiting him at work, yet you did anyway.
Such as today, when a certain man had forgotten his lunch.
Peeking inside of the shop, there were at least four

Link x Reader: Caring for the Hero of Time
Cough Cough
From under the covers of his bed, the hero of time coughed. He felt weak...pathetic. How could he, a hero, be forced to take the day off from all those adventuring just because of a feverish temperature. It was irritating him more than he thought it would. And to make things worse, his temperature would never go down. Why? Let's just say that you were the cause of all this.
"Hey Link. How's your fever?" The door creaked slightly, telling the hero in it's own way that someone had just come in the room.
"I-I'm fine...Just let me go out and adventure _____! How can I be a hero if I can't go out?" Link pouted at you wit
