"This bag sure is getting empty. I'm starting to think some of you may not have given me an item at all. ” Buzzing around the room like a little firefly, Navi chose the next player. “You, you seem like a really sweet person.” She quickly flew back to the bag and signaled you to join her.

You were a little weary of playing a game like this. But since Navi actually seemed to be in a good mood, you figured you had better not ruin it by deciding not to play. Silently you walked over to Navi and picked up the small leather sack. There wasn't much to choose from at this point, so, you pulled out the largest item. It was a bright red orb. Unsure who this might belong to, you asked the group in a quiet voice. “Does anyone know who this belongs to?”

An arrogant voice answered your question. “It belongs to me.” Standing proudly to his feet, Vaati walked over to you with his head held high. “I'm surprised you didn't know. I thought any item I used would be easily recognizable as mine.” He snorted and grabbed your hand. “Never mind that now, let's begin.” Not giving you the option to opt out of the game, Vaati pulled you towards the closet and shut the door with a bang.

You said nothing for what seemed like a very long time. The silence did nothing to calm your nerves, if anything, it was actually making them worse. Unable to bear the silence any longer, you spoke. “I'm sorry I didn't recognize your item. Did you want it back?” You held the orb out for him and watched as he quickly snatched it from you.

“Of course I want it back.” A flustered look appeared on his face, but vanished as quickly as it had surfaced. “Quite honestly, I'd forgotten you still had it. I'm quite taken with your beauty.” Vaati smirked at you, leaning in a bit closer.

“O-oh, thank you, I think.” Tightly closing your eyes, you tried to get control of your tongue. “I'm really no good at things like this. I don't even know why I came.”

“Ah, but I am glad you did.” Suddenly Vaati's attitude was completely different. No longer was he being cold or rude towards you. Instead, he was actually being very flirtatious and charming. His sneer had faded into a pleasant, yet still a bit pretentious, smile. “I suppose it is rather impossible for one person to have every talent. From what I've seen in these few moments together, you have beauty, grace and kindness. Therefore I suppose the gods allowed your social skills to fall short. After all, if you didn't have at least one shortcoming, you would be a god yourself.”

You placed your hand on your burning cheeks in a weak attempt to cover the bright red blush that covered them. With your tongue tied in a dozen knots, and the lump in your throat growing, you were unable to form even a simple sentence. “I-I, thank you.”

Vaati chuckled. “There's no need to thank me for speaking the truth. However, if you'd like to thank me, a kiss will do.” He raised an eyebrow and waited a few seconds for your answer. “Still tongue tied I see, then I shall take your stammering lips as a yes.” Smiling almost wickedly, Vaati gently placed his hand on your cheek and kissed you. You felt your head spinning and quite honestly thought you might faint. “What's the matter? You seem a bit dizzy.” He chuckled and kissed you again, this time not stopping until the door was opened.

“Vaati stop, she's more red than a rupee. You're going to make her pass out!” Quickly fluttering into the closet, Navi placed herself between you and Vaati. “Your times, up, now let her go and get out.”

Vaati almost growled at Navi. “You realize, I could squish you without batting an eye.” He stood to his feet and helped a still very dizzy, very embarrassed you to your feet. “In the future, I would be more careful how you speak to people if I were you.” With you still unresponsive, Vaati led you out of the room, taking you only he knew where.

Navi flew from the closet and hovered close to the door. “Um, should someone go after him, or are we just going to assume nothing bad will happen?”

With no one else showing any sign of movement, Link sighed and stood to his feet. “I've got it, again.”
