Navi had been sitting on your head for the last seven minutes. Afraid you might decide not to play, she refused to even leave your head to open the door, Link had to do it for her. Once the current couple walked out of the closet, she finally moved. “Okay, no escaping it now, it's your turn.” Buzzing around the room like a hyper little firefly, Navi urged you to hurry.
“Calm down Navi, you're going to sprain a wing or something.” You scooped her up in your hands and walked the rest of the way to the small leather sack of items. Once there, you placed her on the ground and began searching. A large pink flower with a bright yellow centre caught your attention. “Oh, this is really pretty. And I think, I know who it belongs to.”
Just as you had expected, Deku Link hopped down from a chair that was much too tall for him and shuffled over to you. Without saying anything ant all, he held out his stubby little hand for you and smiled with his eyes.
“I thought this might belong to you.” You placed the flower behind your ear and happily accepted his hand. “I do believe I'm getting to play this with the cutest out of all the Links. Lucky me.” Without any prompting from Navi, or anyone else for that matter, you walked with Deku Link into the closet and shut the door. When you turned around, Link was already seated on the floor, gentle swaying from side to side. “You really are too adorable.”
Somehow, despite his current form, Link managed to blush. “You're really sweet.” Not only did he look different, but he sounded different. His voice was higher, and had a strange bubbly sound to it, almost like he was speaking under water. “I was afraid you'd be disappointed to spend your turn with me.” He twiddled his thumbs nervously and continued speaking in a quieter voice. “I'm not exactly very kissable after all.”
“What are you talking about? You're just as huggable and kissable as anyone else out there.” Link didn't seem convinced. “You don't believe me huh? Then I'll just have to prove it to you.” Scooping Link up in your arms, you realized he didn't weigh hardly anything. Realizing this, you became extra careful with your hugs, afraid you might squish him if you weren't.
Link squirmed around in your arms, blushing nervously. “No, no. You don't have to prove anything at all to me. It's really alright, I promise. Don't worry about it.”
“Aw, you're adorable and shy. If you got any cuter, I might squeal.” Holding him as tightly as you dared, you placed one long kiss on his cheek. “See, you're perfectly kissable, just like I thought you were.”
He shook his head weakly. “I really don't think so.” Link suddenly stopped squirming altogether. A couple of seconds after that, his head dropped forward, down to his chest. Your kiss had caused him to pass out completely.
At first you thought he was joking, but after he'd been motionless for almost a minute, panic set in. “H-hey, Link, are you okay? It was just a little kiss.” You gave him a little shake, hoping it would bring him to consciousness, but it didn't work. Worried, you picked him up and rushed out of the closet and towards the kitchen.
The moment she noticed something was wrong, Navi brought the game to a complete halt and quickly followed you into the kitchen. You were already rushing about like a mad woman, and her buzzing around your head did little to help the situation. “What happened? Is he okay?”
“I think my kiss killed him, but I'm sure he'll be just fine in a minute or two.” You laid an unconscious Link on the table and wet a small washcloth with cold water. “He was probably just over embarrassed.” Working fast, you held Deku Link in your arms again and placed the cool, damp cloth on his head.
A few minutes later, Link's eyes slowly began to open. Realizing he'd passed out caused him to blush once again. “I told you I wasn't very kissable.”
