Kuroko no Basuke Seven Minutes in Heaven Taiga

        “So far these turns have not gone at all the way I expected them to. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but we're going to keep playing either way. Eventually, everyone will get into the swing of things, I'm sure.” With a resolved look on her face, Riko pulled Taiga from his seated position and shoved him right in front of the girls. “You should know the drill by now, pick a girl and get your butts to the closet.”

“Yeah, I know what I'm doing.” Seemingly uninterested in Riko's little game, Taiga looked over the small group of assembled girls with a bored expression. Even though he really wasn't at all excited about playing, he was having a difficult time picking out one of the girls. After letting out an agitated snort, he grabbed you by your elbow and helped you to your feet. “Come on. Let's just hurry and get this over with.”

More than excited enough for both of you, you wrapped your arms around his, happily skipped into the closet and shut the door as soon as you could. “I hate to break it to you, but if you just wanted to get things over with, you picked the wrong girl entirely. It's probably a little late to be telling you this, but I'm pretty stoked to be playing this. That being said, I am going to savor every single second of this wonderful game.”

Taiga sat down on the closet floor with you close behind and made himself as comfortable as could be expected. Even with the lights off and everything dark, you could tell that he wasn't pleased to hear what you'd just said. Knowing just how stubborn and hardheaded he could be, it would have been a lot easier on you if he was at least slightly curious. It was going to be difficult to get him to play, but you weren't going down without a fight. You would just have to push him until eventually, he gave in. “What's with that look?”

“Oh, it's nothing really.” Grinning to yourself, you limply waved his question off. “I'm just figuring out the fastest, easiest way to break you. I know it's going to be tough, but I think it'll be more than worth it in the end. I just have to make sure I do it correctly, otherwise I'm just going to embarrass myself, and I don't want that.”

“Break me?” Confused as to what you meant by that, he crossed his arms tightly over his chest and raised a brow.

“Yes, break you. You don't seem willing to play along with this game, so I've got to find a way to change that and still have some fun before the time runs out.” Inching closer to him, you tapped your chin with your forefinger and thought once more. “I've gone over several, more civil, ideas in my head, but I'm starting to think that an all out attack is going to be the best way to go.”

Even after your explanation, Taiga had no idea what you were talking about. “If you're going to do something, I'd do it soon.”

“That's very true. Now do me a favor, remember that you said that.” Taking his last sentence as permission to proceed, however you saw fit, you launched yourself at him. You really did expect him to fall over or at least loose balance, but he didn't. Even so, you were on his lap now, and you could definitely work with that.

Amused by your strange, messy actions Taiga started to grin. “This was your plan?” Trying not to laugh at you, his smile widened further. “Maybe you should have thought about it a while longer. This really doesn’t seem like much of a plan.”

“No, this wasn't my plan. Not exactly anyway, but it'll still work.” Still determined to make this work, you placed a single finger over his lips and smiled as innocently as you knew how. “Now be quiet, I can't kiss you if you're talking.” Positive that Riko would be barging through that door at any moment, you took Taiga's face in your hands and brought his lips to yours. You thought it would feel awkward, forced and rushed, but it was surprisingly pleasant. He wasn’t trying to stop you either, which was another welcomed surprise. Trying to relax a bit more, you dropped your hands from his face to his shoulder and gently pressed your body against his.

Since both of you were enjoying the closeness, neither of you attempted to bring the kiss to an end. Another reason of, course was because neither of you were quite sure how to do that. This would have made things very awkward very quickly if Riko hadn't shown up when she did. “Again, this turn did not go at all as expected. But this time, I'm pretty sure that's a good thing.” Pleased that the turn had gone well, she placed her hands on her hips and smiled. “Now hurry up and get out of the closet. We need to get Kuroko in here before he disappears again.”
