Kamigami no Asobi Seven Minutes in Heaven Dionysus

       Finally returning from the kitchen with the last two players following behind him, Thoth glanced over at you and immediately began to frown. “Didn't I tell you a moment ago that when I returned it would be your turn? Why haven't you picked out a lunch box yet?” Not waiting for your response, Thoth released an agitated snort. “Hurry up, you're delaying the lesson due to your inability to follow simple directions adequately.”

“I was only waiting in case you changed your mind. I'll move fast to make up for it.” True to your word, you rushed up to the table and snatched up the closest one to you. Inside, was a small, chocolate heart. “Oh, chocolate.” Bringing the sweet closet to your nose, you took in a deep breath, inhaling as much of the scent as possible. “I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that this chocolate heart belongs to none other than Dionysus.”

“You got me. That's mine.” Smiling warmly, Dionysus rose from his seat and happily walked over to where you were standing. “I don't know if you like chocolate or not, but you're free to keep that. If nothing else, it can serve as a memento.” After sending you a flirtatious wink, he locked his arm with yours and continued into the kitchen without any sort of prompting from Thoth. The moment the two of you were inside, he released your arm and shook his head. “This is a pretty strange place to play a game like this. Somewhere more romantic would probably help make things run more smoothly. At this point, it's probably pointless to even bring it up though.” With a happy go luck expression on his face, Dionysus shrugged. “We'll just have to do our best in the setting we were given, won't we?”

“Maybe that's part of the lesson.” Just as confused as he was, you leaned against the countertop and attempted to get comfortable in the awkward space. “Honestly, I'm not sure what Master Thoth is trying to teach us here.”

“Me either.” Moving so that you were stuck between him, and the counter, with no where to go, he allowed his smile to become crooked, giving it an unmistakably mischievous look. “If he's trying to teach us about human relationships, there are much more effective, fun ways of doing that.”

Instantly blushing, due to both his closeness, and the look on his face, you pulled your eyes away from his. “I-I'm sure.” Hardly able to speak, you swallowed hard hoping it would help remove the lump in your throat. “S-still, this is the lesson, so we should do as we were told and not question it. I've already gotten in trouble once during this lesson for not following instructions properly.”

“Don't worry about getting into trouble. I plan on playing this game, exactly the way I'm supposed to.” Gently wrapping his fingers around your upper arms, Dionysus pulled you away from the countertop and into his arms for a tight hug. “I couldn't let you get into trouble because of me, now could I?”

With your heart now beating wildly in your chest, it was taking every bit of focus you had just to form a simple sentence. Even then, you found yourself stuttering and scrambling to find the right words. “W-well, I would hope not. But I'm half of this lesson, so if either  of us get into trouble, I should take half of the blame.”

Using only the very tip of his finger, Dionysus tilted your chin up just slightly. “I already told you, no one's going to get into any trouble. You have my word.” Smiling softly, he gently began to brush the tip of his thumb over your bottom lip. Then, without warning, he placed his hand on the nape of your neck and pulled you into a surprisingly passionate kiss. Though you were slightly shocked, you didn't even think about stopping him. His lips tasted of sweet, fragrant wine, almost begging you to drink them in. The kiss itself was completely intoxicating, making you feel instantly lightheaded and dizzy. You had expected that the longer the kiss went on, the more you would relax into it. The opposite was true however. The longer Dionysus held you, the faster your heart raced and the more shaky your legs became. Despite all this, you didn't want this kiss to end.

Just as Dionysus pulled you to his chest and prepared to deepen the kiss, you heard the sound of Thoth entering the kitchen. You hoped that it was your mind playing tricks on you, but when you heard him begin to speak, you couldn't deny the obvious. “That's enough. Your time is up and you've more than passed this lesson.” Giving a nod of approval, Thoth turned on his heel and began to walk away. “The two of you are free to go.”

Still holding you tightly in his arms, Dionysus looked down to you, his bright, green eyes, shinning brightly and grinned. “You see, I told you that no one would get in trouble. There was never any reason for you to worry.” Chuckling softly, he placed a quick, flirty kiss on your cheek. “Now, let's see if we can get you out of here without you fainting.”
