America calls you to the center of the room and holds out his large, patriotic hat for you. “Pick something good dude. We don't want you to get stuck with anyone super boring.” He smiled wide and gave the hat a quick shake before letting you place your hand inside.
You felt around the cramped hat for a moment before picking your item. Lifting the item up and out of the hat you recognized it as a glove, the kind one would wear with a nice suit and tie. Still, these could belong to quite a few of the guys at the party. “Whose glove is this?” You held the lone glove above your head so everyone could get a look at it.
“That's mine.” Slovakia walked up to you, shyly with a sweet smile on his face. “I wasn't actually expecting to get to play, so I didn’t bring anything. I'm sorry my item made it hard for you to identify the owner.”
“Aw dude, he kind of reminds me of Canada. I'm glad we invited him. You two should have tons of fun together.” America led you both to the closet and opened the door for you. “Alright, I'll see you dudes in seven minutes.” He shut and locked the door.
“I don't usually do this kind of thing. So I'm sorry if I don't do this right.” Slovakia cleared his throat, embarrassed. “Actually, I never do this kind of thing. But I'm willing to try anything at least once I guess. I just hope I don't ruin your time in here.”
“You wont ruin my time, trust me. As long as you don't act like France I'll be happy.” You smiled brightly at him.
“Oh, well if you're sure.” He looked to the ground nervously. “I just don't want to do anything that's going to get me into trouble later.”
“I promise you won't get in trouble.” You pulled him close to you, holding him in a hug as you spoke. “I already said it's okay, so stop worrying already.” You kissed his cheek, causing a massive blush to explode over his face.
“Okay, sorry. I'll stop worrying now. My worrying has taken up enough of our time.” Slovakia gently and shyly returned your hug. He took a deep breath and summoned all his courage, kissing you sweetly on the lips. He ran his fingers through your loose hair, blushing nervously and hugged you closer to him. Not long after he started he slowly let you go. “I think, that's as much as I find appropriate in a closet. It isn't right to do this kind of thing with someone you barely know. I'm sorry.”
“Don't be sorry. I don't mind at all. You just have to promise we can hang out sometime, so we can get to know each other.” You squeezed him tight.
The door opened, flooding the room with light. “Hey, you two have any fun? Or was he a total stiff? By the way you two are snuggled, it looks like some fun was had.” America let out a loud laugh as you and Slovakia left the closet. “Hey where you two going? Aren't you going to tell me what happened in there? Figures.”
Slovakia was still holding your hand, and leading you out of the party. You had no idea where he was taking you. “Where are we going?” You asked in a cheerful voice so as to not worry him again.
“Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to ask. You said you wanted to hang out, so I thought we could maybe go to the movies, or bowling, or out to dinner. We can do whatever you want actually.” He smiled at you, still blushing.
You nodded. “Oh Okay, that's fine. But why don't you choose, I like surprises.”
