“Just so everyone knows, in case you didn't hear me say it earlier, I'm in charge of this game now.” Zack placed his hands on his hips and gave the crowd a wide smile. “Now that that's out of the way, we can continue on with the game.” Still smiling just as wide as before, Zack walked up to you and pulled you to your feet. “You look ready to have some fun. Want to play?”
“I guess I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be. So I guess I might as well play now before I get unready somehow.” You weren't at all nervous about playing this game, but you weren't exactly excited either. Whatever happened, or didn't happen would be totally fine with you. You silently walked up to the hat, peered inside and pulled out a plain, thin, silver chain. “Would anyone like to claim this? It's a pretty boring item, so I'm really not sure who it belongs to.”
Snow was standing next to you with the chain back around his neck and his hand protectively holding yours in an instant. It actually took you longer to notice him standing there than it did for him to do everything he'd done. “You look surprised.” He winked.
Your eyes widened, but not at all for the reason he'd hoped. “Wow, I never noticed how tall you were before. You're like a giant or something. How did I not ever notice that before now?”
“Huh? Oh, I guess I am pretty tall.” A little disappointed that all you'd noticed was his height, he gave your hand a squeeze and started for the closet. Once inside, Zack closed the door and locked the two of you inside. “So, I really wasn't listening during the rules.” Already blushing, Snow ruffled up the back of his hair and let out an awkward, nervous chuckle. “I'm pretty sure I know what we're supposed to be doing and all, but still.”
“Still what? You want me to explain the rules to you again? Or are you just warning me that you're going to be boring despite knowing the purpose of the game?” Though you really didn't care what his answer was, you honestly enjoyed making him blush quite a lot. He acted so tough and strong around everyone, even going so far as to call himself a hero. So it was pretty funny to watch him blush and stumble over his words just because of a silly little game.
The longer the two of you sat there alone, the more red Snow's face became. He was making it more than a little bit obvious that he really wasn't very good when it came to dealing with girls. “I don't know. I was just trying to warn you I guess.”
“You're really not making yourself very clear at all you know.” Enjoying his awkwardness far too much to stop, you crawled onto his lap and looked up at him with a confused expression. “What are you trying to warn me about.”
Having figured you out, Snow closed his eyes and sighed. “You're just picking on me for fun, aren't you?” Laughing bitterly, he shook his head and finally relaxed a little bit. “I should have known you weren't actually confused.” A slow smile spread across his face, making you just a little bit uncomfortable. “Now that I know you like to tease people, I have absolutely no problem teasing you right back.”
“Just how do you plan on doing that exactly? I have to admit I'm curious.” You tilted your head to the side and raised a questioning brow. “You're not going to embarrass me, I guarantee it.”
“That's actually a really, really good question. I'm sure I'll think of something eventually though. I just need a bit of time to think about it.” He rubbed his stubble covered chin and pushed out his lips as he thought. Snow really didn't know you all that well, so coming up with a good plan wasn't exactly an easy thing for him to do.
“Your time's up Snow. I think you've than more than long enough to think about this. And since you couldn't think of anything, it looks like I'm going to get to embarrass you some more.” Despite Snow's protesting, you wrapped your arms loosely around his shoulders and snuggled up close to him. “You should have thought faster, now all of Nora will get to see you blush.” The moment the door opened, you pulled him down to you and kissed him directly on the lips. You could actually feel the heat of his blush on your face. Now sure that your plan was working, you saw no reason to end the kiss until you had to.
“I guess you really were ready to play.” Zack laughed. “I must have a natural ability to choose the right players.” Quickly realizing that you two were paying him absolutely no attention, Zack backed away from the closet slightly and readied to close the door again. “Uh, are you going to stop kissing him, or should I just close the door?”
“That's not how your supposed end someone's turn Zack, seriously. You have to be forceful with them sometimes or no one else will ever get a turn.” Yuffie stomped into the closet, roughly grabbed onto Snow's collar and tried to pull him away from you. “How am I ever going to get any rest if I can't count on you to do things right?”
