For the last three or so minutes Ryuk had been standing directly in front of you, hunched over with his eyes locked on yours. He wasn't saying or doing anything at all, just staring. This strange behavior was more than enough to make you shiver. “I guess my little test has gone on long enough.” Ryuk suddenly straightened out his back and let out a low chuckle. “You can play next.”
“Thank you, I think.” Just glad to have a bit of distance between the two of you, you quickly scurried to your feet, rushed over to the basket and pulled out a small packet of strawberry jam from within. “Another food item, huh? It seems to me like the people here have a strange fascination with food. Not that I can blame them or anything, food is really good.”
As you finished speaking, you heard a shrill laugh come from the corner of the room. “Most of the items have been food or some sort, haven't they? Maybe you're on to something here.” Who you'd thought was L, until seeing his shocking red eyes, walked up to you and took you by your elbow. Giving you very little choice, he pulled you into the unbelievably dark closet and shut the door with a thud. Within seconds he was lazily sitting on the floor in a relaxed way that also reminded you very much of L. “Are you going to sit down?”
“Of course I am.” Uncomfortable with the idea of being alone with him for some reason, you carefully sat down on the floor but avoided making eye contact with him. He might look a lot like L, and even have some of his mannerisms, but something wasn't right. There was something about his eyes and the intense way he looked at you that truly scared you to your core. “I was just waiting to be able to see a little better. I wouldn't want to trip or something like that.”
Laughing again, B.B. Scooted just a little bit closer to you. With a wide smirk on his face, he gently brushed the side of his hand against your face and leaned in close to whisper. “Do you have a bad habit of falling? It would make a lot of sense to me if you did.”
You leaned away from his touch and started at him with a dumbfounded expression on your slightly pinkened face. W-what would make a lot of sense? No, don't tell me, never mind.” Confused and uncomfortable, you shook your head and dismissed your earlier question. “I can be clumsy, especially when I'm tired or not paying attention, but I really don't fall down all that often.”
B.B. hunched his upper body over his crossed legs, hung his head and with a sigh, brought his thumb to his mouth and gently bit down. “Ah, well, that's too bad.”
“It's too bad that I don't fall often?” You weren't sure whether or not what he said was supposed to be a joke or not, but you didn't find it funny. “You're really confusing you know. I'm not even sure I want to know why you responded that way.” Another shiver worked its way down your spine as you silently tried to understand the reasoning behind what he'd said. “Quite honestly, it's a little bit creepy just thinking about it.”
“I'm creepy, am I?” He lifted his eyes to meet yours, looking up at you from under his thick, black lashes and laughed in an almost macabre fashion. “You really have no idea how creepy things can get, trust me.”
Swallowing hard, you nodded. As lost as you were, you really had no desire at all to understand him. Somehow you already knew you didn't want to hear what he had to say. “I think I will trust you on that actually. I still don't really know what you're talking about right now, but I'd rather be naive as long as possible if you don't mind.”
“Not at all, most people do.” For seemingly no reason, B.B. stood to his feet, placed his hands in his pockets and started for the door. The moment he got there the door creaked open and he walked outside, leaving you alone and bewildered.
Ryuk entered the dark room and looked down at you with a wide, toothy smile. “Did everything go okay in there? You look like you've seen a ghost.”
“I guess everything is just fine, but that was definitely weird and not at all what I was expecting to happen.” Standing to your feet, you tried to shake off the last remnants of fear. “You know, I really thought L was pretty dang eccentric, but that guy's twice as weird and ten times as crazy. He makes L seem normal.”
“Thank you, I think.” Just glad to have a bit of distance between the two of you, you quickly scurried to your feet, rushed over to the basket and pulled out a small packet of strawberry jam from within. “Another food item, huh? Deceitful Death | Beyond Birthday x Reader
You were sitting on the couch, scrolling through a magazine when your roommate walked through the door of the apartment, slamming the door closed behind her. You looked up and watched as she stormed into her room and slammed that door as well. After a deep sigh, you continued looking through the magazine as you were before.
Your roommate was always getting upset over the littlest of things, you’ve stopped bothering to ask what was wrong. In a couple of hours, she’d be up and out of her room, completely forgetting she was upset in the first place. It’s how things always played out so you didn’t think that you

LightXReader KIRA's Revenge 3
Chapter 3
3. If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
It’s been a couple of days since your first kill, and not one ounce of guilt or pity ran through your veins. Criminals did wrong upon the world and deserved to be demolished and ridden from the face of the earth. As taught, you just wrote names no specifics. Light instructed you how to thoroughly hide the death note so no one could find or stumble upon it. You didn't mind killing anymore and simply continued life as you normally would. You, as the 'Next KIRA' exploded across the media and many countries already g

Realize : Light x Reader part 5
You suddenly felt a pair of lips on mine. Light was kissing you. You wanted to push him away but a warm feeling overwhelmed you. Your arms traveled behind his neck bringing him closer to you. At the same time Light’s right arm traveled to your waist bringing even closer to him and the left hand traveled behind to your head to deepen the kiss. You were kissing back and that was enough for Light for now at the least.
After a minute you broke the kiss because you both needed air. You placed your forehead on Light’s while you were breathing heavily. You couldn’t help but smile to him as did he to you. It wasn&rs
