“It's really crowded out here. I expected a lot of people, but not this many.” Never before had the beach been so full of people. You held onto Canada's hand, just so you wouldn't get lost. “Is it always like this on holidays?”
“Um, I don't really know. I usually don't come to America's parties. But I would guess it would be. America does throw some of the best parties.” Canada smiled weakly at you as he pushed through the crowd, finally leading you to a small spot, void of people. “It's a good thing I picked out a spot for us yesterday huh? Otherwise, I may be stuck in the parking lot.” He sat down with you on a comfortable blanket he'd laid out earlier and handed you a drink.
“You aren't kidding. I'm surprised people didn't just shove our stuff out of the way and claim this spot for themselves.” Where you were sitting would allow you to see every single firework that exploded above you. Canada really had picked an ideal location.
“W-well, even if they had, I had a few other spots picked out. I wanted to make sure nothing and no one messed this up for us.” He sighed, obviously worried that something might happen.
“Don't worry so much, there's at least ten feet between us and the next human being.” You laughed, wrapping your arms around him and kissing his cheek. “The chances of something bad happening are pretty slim.” Your kisses Still made Canada blush horribly, which really was rather adorable. Maybe that was why you insisted on doing it so often. “You're so cute.”
“Y-yeah, you say that a lot, it shouldn't still embarrass me as much as it does. Maybe it's just so embarrassing because such a beautiful girl is saying it.” He shut his eyes and grinned an absolutely adorable grin, one that only made you want to snuggle him tighter.
The loud music that filled the beach stopped suddenly as America's voice came over the speakers. “Who's ready to blow some stuff up?” A cheer went up from the crowd. “Are you dudes really ready?” Another loud cheer. “Then let's get this party started!” The music started again as orbs of light ascended to the sky.
Canada wrapped his arm around your shoulders and stared up at the flashing lights over head. They glittered as they fell to the earth. Colors ranging from white, to a purple so dark you could barely see it. The shapes that were created were also rather astonishing. Stars, hearts, flowers, even words flashed across the sky in an amazing, colorful display. “This is actually kind of nice. D-don't tell America I said that though.”
“Your secrets safe with me Matty, I think it's nice too.” Resting your head on his shoulder, you wrapped your arms around his waist and snuggled as close to him as you could. “But then again, I enjoy anything and everything I do with you.”
“W-would you stop embarrassing me?” Canada shook his head, and tightly shut his eyes. “You know I don't know how to respond to you when you say nice things like that.”
You giggled. “I know, that's why I keep doing it. Like I said before, and like I'll say again, you are just too cute.” Once again, you kissed him, though on the jaw this time.
The fireworks began exploding more rapidly. They were also larger and louder than before. “Here comes the best part, watch closely.” Canada was more excited about this than he'd ever been. He was so excited, you could actually feel him shaking as he held you.
Sure the fireworks were nice, but there was really no reason for Canada to be this excited. “Are you okay? You're shaking really bad.”
“Shh, you have to watch. I'm serious!” Canada grabbed your face and made you stare into the sky. Everything stopped completely, even the music. Still Canada wouldn't let you stop watching. Almost a full minute later, the music returned. Instead of the popular dance music that was on, a slow, romantic song played in its place. Orbs of light once again shot into the sky. As they exploded, bright white words appeared.
You read the words aloud. “Will you Marry me? Man is somebody lucky, that's a pretty awesome way to propose.” You finally took your eyes off of the sky. When you did, you couldn't help but notice Canada was blushing again. “W-what's wrong? I wasn't trying to hint to anything, I was just thinking out loud.”
“O-oh, nothing.” He quickly changed the subject, pointing to something floating in the sky only a few feet away. “What's that?”
“Huh?” You looked to see a something glittery slowly making its way down to the earth with the help of a very small parachute. “I don't know, but I can go see.” Standing to your feet, you rushed over to the unknown object and let it fall into your hands. With a look of shock on your face, you walked back towards Canada. “I-It's a ring. Y-you did all of this, didn't you?” Almost falling to your knees, you grabbed his face, staring at him intensely.
Canada nodded. “I-I did. That's not a bad thing, is it?”
“No, it's an amazing thing.” You hugged him tighter that you'd ever hugged anyone in your entire life. “How did you even come up with this idea? I mean, what if the parachute hadn't reached me, or the fireworks hadn't gone off?”
“D-don't worry about all of that, it's my little secret.” He hugged you back. “But I do have to ask, w-will you actually marry me, and be my wife?”
“Of course I will.” You pulled away only long enough to place the ring on your finger gleefully. As soon as it was secure, you knocked him flat on his back and kissed him until you heard the sound of someone over you clearing his throat. Lifting your head, you saw America standing there with a strange expression. “O-oh, hi there America.”
“Hey there, I'm not interrupting anything am I?” He let out a loud obnoxious laugh. You shook your head, embarrassed, and let Canada sit up. “Hey brah, it's good to see you getting some love and all. But about that last little set of fireworks, that wasn't your doing was it? Because it definitely wasn't mine.”
“Oh, y-yes, that was my doing. S-sorry I should have asked.” Canada gave America a sheepish look as he apologized.
“Don't apologize man, I'm actually pretty proud of you.” He gave Canada a slap on the back and laughed. “That's the first time you've ever trolled me. And the fact that you did it at my own birthday party makes me even more proud.” America smiled wide. “There may be some hope for you after all my man.” He turned to walk away. “Congrats on the engagement bro. I had better be in your wedding.”
Canada's mouth dropped. “This is the best day of my life so far. I gained America's respect, and a fiance.” He kissed your nose, squeezed you tight and smiled ecstatically. “What more could I ever ask for?”
“Um, I don't really know. I usually don't come to America's parties. But I would guess it would be. Canada X Greenland Reader part 1
I had been traveling a long time. All the way from Russia. I was now in Germany. I had to find Papa. Funny I’ve been looking for him for along time now. I lost count of the days. I knew I was Greenland. A personified country. So was he. But who was he? I had no idea.
I kept walking in country side. Weird this street looked like a busy outer street. Due to the carts, stands and everything around here.
Then I found out what was wrong. A man pulled a gun on me and started shouting in German. When I didn’t answer he shot me in the stomach. I wouldn’t die, I learned that a long time ago.
Soon two others came out of the same bu

CanadaxReader - Merry Christmas, Mattie.
“Matthew! Wait up!” You called to the blonde boy ahead of you as you attempted to wade through the deep snow.
“S-Sorry (Name)! I thought you would be angry I made you late, so I’m trying to move faster!” He called back to you through chattering teeth.
You smiled to yourself as his quiet voice barely reached your ears. Sweet Mattie.. You were suppose to be going to a Christmas party down the street. The host of the party was to be Alfred Jones, who was a friend of yours and lived right down the street. After requesting that Matthew accompany you, Alfred allowed for the Canadian boy to go too; however, someone to

CanadaxReader: Let's play ZAP!
It's really such a cliche day. Perfect azure sky, puffy, cottony clouds, and an annoying Prussian and American bothering me.
"Alfred, Gilbert! I said I don't want to!!" I whine as the albino laughs off my concerns.
"Kesese~ But (y/n)! It'd be so interesting! Please?" he asks, trying to pull off the puppy eyes, and looking away, I shake my head no.
As Alfred joins in, I'm stuck with x2 of these adorable, pleading eyes, which is hard to refuse to.
"F-fine...."I mutter as they cheer and take my arm, holding the pen. I recall the scene that had just happened a few minutes ago.
It was lunchtime, and I was talking to my friend, Matthew William
