"I don't know about this. Why don't we ride something else first, something like the Ferris wheel or the carousel, you know to help build up the anticipation or something." Prussia stood outside the line for the biggest, fastest roller coaster in the park.
You shook your head. "No way, the lines going to get crazy if we wait, that's why we had to get here early. What's the matter, you scared or something?" You poked him and gave him a teasing grin.
"No way man, I'm way to awesome to be scared." He grabbed your hand and led you into the already growing line. Despite what he said, you knew he wasn't big on roller coasters, or thrill rides in general, you were actually a bit shocked he'd even agreed to come with you today. The closer you two got to the front of the line, the tighter he held your hand.
"You don't have to ride it you know. You can just walk through to the other side if you want. I don't mind riding it by myself."
"I told you I wasn't scared. God woman, don't you listen?" It was your turn next. You and Prussia boarded the ride and strapped yourselves in. He let out a weak laugh. "I don't know about you, but these harnesses look a little flimsy to me. Seems like they should have something a bit stronger for a ride like this, you know." He kept tugging and tightening his restraints even after the employees had checked and cleared the train. The signal was given that all was clear an you started to move. "I lied, I'm scared, can I get off now?" He grasped to your hand as tight as he could.
"No. Sorry, but now we're moving, your stuck on the ride until the end. Just pray it doesn't break down." You grinned evilly at him.
"Does that happen a lot? You're joking right?" The ride started picking up speed and went through the first of many loops. A corkscrew and boomerang followed, leading up to the largest drop of the ride. Prussia was silent, and you couldn't read his face. He didn't look as scared as he was at the beginning of the ride, he actually looked as if he might be enjoying it. As you both began your plummet to the bottom of the hill, Prussia let out a high pitched scream. You didn't even try to stop yourself from laughing at him. After what seemed like only mere seconds to you, but an eternity for Prussia, the ride ended.
"See, that wasn't so bad was it?" You smiled and helped Prussia out of the train. He was still a bit shaken from the whole experience.
He clung to you but shook his head. "I don't think I'll be running back into the line anytime soon, but it was okay. I just don't know why you like them so much." He took your hand and kissed your cheek. "Let's go get something to eat, I didn't eat breakfast this morning, just in case. I didn't want to look like a loser throwing up you know."
"We should check out our pictures first. I bet they got you screaming in them." You ran off to check before they changed.
Prussia quickly chased after you. "Wait, why would you want a picture of that? Come back here." It was to late, you already purchased the picture. You took the photo out of the slip and began laughing like crazy.
"This is great, look at your face. I think, we should get copies." You were laughing so hard your eyes began to water.
Prussia swiped it from your hand and stared down at it. "Seriously, we can never show this to anyone, ever."
