You weren't really quite sure why you'd accepted Russia's invitation to visit him today. Everyone had advised against it, but you still wanted to go. He couldn't be as bad as everyone said, right? You arrived at his home and somewhat shyly knocked on the door. It was opened only seconds later by Russia's smiling face. "Hello "_____", I'm glad you decided to come today."He stepped outside his house and took your hand in his. "Ready to go? I think you'll like what I have planned." Russia led you far out into a snowy field until you could see nothing but white in every direction you looked.
You knew it was wrong, but you were beginning to worry a little. You were in the middle of nowhere and had no idea how to get back. "So, where are we going exactly?"
Russia just smiled and continued leading you down the seemingly endless snowy path. "You'll see." You went down a steep hill and were now face to face with a giant castle made completely out of ice. "It's pretty isn't it? I made it during my alone time." The inside was decorated just like you would expect it to be, spiral staircases, matching king and queen thrones, and statues all made of ice. There was even a fireplace, with logs made of ice.
You're jaw dropped, it was amazing and this was only the front room. "You did all this, all by yourself? It's amazing Russia."
"I'm glad you are liking it. Lets go see the rest." The two of you walked through the remainder of the castle, everything was the carved with such detail it was like walking through a fairy tale. Your favorite room by far had to be the garden. Russia had sculpted thousands and thousands of individual flowers out of ice, each one different from the last. He'd made everything about this place magical, like it had been frozen in time. Wisteria and Jasmine hung from the trellises above your head, and you swore you could smell them. As you moved towards the center of the garden a large statue caught your eye. It was by far the most intricate piece of art there. The closer you two got to it, the more uncomfortable Russia seemed to get. Once close enough to really look at it, you knew why. The statue was of you. He'd gotten the detail of you in that statue perfect, from head to toe.
You weren't sure what to say, You realized now that he'd done all this for you. "It's beautiful, thank you." You hugged him tight.
"I know it is, it's you." He Eskimo kissed you and smiled.
You blushed at his words, he was calling you beautiful. "You really didn't have to do all this you know."
"Yes I did, I wanted you to know how I felt." His face was turning slightly pink. "And I didn't think flowers and a box of chocolate was going to be enough. I wanted to do something that no one else would think to do."
"Well you definitely did that. No one's ever built me a castle before."
He smiled again. "Good, then I don't have to worry about my question so much. I would very much like it, if you would be my girlfriend."
"I would very much like to be your girlfriend. You have way to much free time." You hugged him tight.
He returned your hug, picking you up off the ground and spinning you around. "Da, you're probably right."
